BCG Vaccination

The BCG vaccine protects against tuberculosis and is most important for protecting babies and young children against severe TB. Often needed for travel, healthcare work or higher personal risk.

Duration: Around 30 minutes

Mantoux (TB Skin) Test

£90

A skin test that checks for previous TB infection. Often required before BCG vaccination, for work, or after possible exposure.

Duration: Two visits: a short appointment, then a reading 48–72 hours later

IGRA Blood Test (TB Screening)

£149

A single blood test that screens for tuberculosis infection. Not affected by previous BCG vaccination, so useful for anyone vaccinated before.

Duration: One appointment; results typically within a few working days

BCG Scar Check & Certificate

£45

A clinical inspection to confirm evidence of a previous BCG vaccination, with a certificate for employers or occupational health.

Duration: Around 15 minutes
